The fishing fleet heads out for a day of fishing.
A fishing trawler heading out into the North Atlantic from St. John's Nfld. I wouldn't want to have to earn a living that way, but someone has to do it.

A provision ship returning to St. John's Harbour from the Hibernia Oil Platform. There is constantly, 24 hours a day, one of these ships standing by each of the three platforms off Newfoundland. This is as a result of all 84 hands tragically being lost on the Ocean Ranger Platorm on Feb 15, 1984.
