I took my trailer in June 2003 and stayed at a State Park not far from the College and really enjoyed my studies. I took the program "Photographers Eye" with Marlyn Bridges Photography and learned a great deal. Had great fellow students and found it was very educational just spending the week dedicated to photography.
Here is the group that I had the pleasure of working and learning with.
An American flag flies on a beautiful hotel on Monhegan Island 22 kilometers off the coast of Maine.
Lobster buoys stacked for the season.
Hats for sale in a window.
House in Northern Maine.
Tower on a house in Camden, Maine.
A group of painters at the lighthouse on Monhegan Island 22 kilometers off the coast of Maine.
A look at the harbour between some houses on Monhegan Island off Maine.
Flower taken in Maine at photo workshop.
Photo Workshop Maine Boats Propeller.
A sign of the times. As I was taking this picture of a Coast Guard Stations flagpole a coast guard officer came out and advised me that it was not allowed as a result of 9/11. When he found out I was a foreigner he really had a flip and this was the only picture I was allowed to keep.
Monhegan Island with Manana Island in the background 22 kilomters off the Maine coast.
A board walk going to an old house on Manana Island located right beside Monhegan Island. Because of the telephoto lens which compresses things the boardwalk looks steeper than it is. In fact if you look at the picture just above this in the top right corner you will see the actual board walk from the side. It is just a white line in the corner of the picture but you can see the gentle slope as compared to the steep apparent slope in this picture caused by compression. TOP of my page |
