In January 2009 I flew down to San Francisco for a week. I went over to Yosemite and up to Reno. Beautiful weather and lots of photo ops. Still sitting out there in the harbour, Alcatraz. Fishing boats all lined up ready to go Beautiful homes in San Fran. They have named these the Seven Sisters Viv would have enjoyed being with me I am sure. These ladies certainly seemed to be enjoying themselves. Worth getting up early to see and capture the sights. The Golden Gate at dawn. Just outside the Harbour. Small Waterfall in San Francisco. YOSEMITE I went over to Yosemite National Park where the famous photographer Ansel Adams spent a great deal of time. Bridal Falls in Yosemite National Park. Ansel Adams Half Dome with the setting sun just reaching the top. Large Falls in Yosemite Half Dome from a distance. This tree in the Napa Valley seemed strange in it is colour. You can just barley see the pelicans along the shore. Reno I got to meet up with my friend Jukka from Vancouver in Reno. 30,000 silver dollars. This was a really relaxing and enjoyable week in the San Francisco area. I missed a lot and would go back for another week any time. TOP of my page
